troubleshooting & repair

My NASCAR 1:24th Scale car will not steer. What do I do?

If your car is unable to steer, the first thing you’re going to want to do is check the wheels and tires to see if there is any hair or debris caught in that area. Even just one little piece of hair can make your car spin unable to steer! Carefully remove anything that can get in the way.

Now try and drive your car. If it’s still unable to steer, the next step would be to “trim” your car. Turn the car over; see that little switch on under the front axle directly in the middle. This will help you get your car to steer properly.

Setting the Trim on the car:

  1. Figure out which direction your car is unable to steer to. Is there an issue steering to the left or to the right?
  2. Turn the car over and move the trim dial on the bottom of the car towards the direction that you’d like the car to properly steer to.

If your car is still unable to steer, give our Customer Care Team a call at 1-800-622-8339 and they’ll love to help out!
